Refund Policy

At Clean Books Inc., we value transparency and want you to feel confident in every service you book with us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for all bookkeeping and advisory services.
1. Monthly Bookkeeping Services
Because bookkeeping is a labor-based service performed each month, all payments are non-refundable once work for the month has begun.
Cancellation Requirements

A 30-day written notice is required to cancel monthly bookkeeping services.

Services will continue through the end of the notice period.

Any outstanding work must be paid in full before offboarding is completed.

Paused Services
If a payment fails or required documents are not provided, services may be paused until the issue is resolved. No refunds are given during paused service periods.
2. Clean-Up & Catch-Up Projects
These projects require a significant upfront time commitment and preparation.

A non-refundable deposit is required before work begins.

Once work has started, no refunds are issued for any portion of the project.

If the client stops responding or fails to provide documents, the project may be placed on hold until items are received—no refunds will be given.
3. Growth Advisory, Strategy Calls & One-Time Sessions
For all advisory calls, strategy meetings, or one-time growth sessions:

Sessions must be paid at the time of booking.

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session may be rescheduled one time at no cost.

Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

If Clean Books Inc. must cancel or reschedule, you may choose a new time or receive a full refund.
4. Digital Products, Templates & Dashboards
Any digital files, templates, dashboards, or downloads provided by Clean Books Inc. are:

Non-refundable once delivered, due to the nature of digital content.

If you have trouble accessing your files, we will resend or help troubleshoot at no cost.
5. Billing Errors
If you believe a billing mistake occurred, please email us within 7 days of the charge.
We will review the issue and correct any confirmed errors promptly.
6. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel a service, email:
Include your name, business name, and which services you wish to cancel.
The 30-day cancellation period for recurring services begins when written notice is received.
